Wellness – the quintessence of nature in the interior
This part of the apartment space was conceived as a recreation area, the so-called Wellness - the concept of a healthy lifestyle. It combines three rooms: bedroom, bathroom, wardrobe. Everything in this zone should talk about comfort, relax and charge with positive emotions after a hard day at work.
Zoning of these three premises is carried out by means of sliding systems, which, moving behind the central column, form an integral free space in the loft style. On the inside, sliding canvases are decorated with mirrors for an even greater effect of increasing space when closing the doors.
Thus, we have three functional zones in one space, separated only by sliding door panels, which, moving behind the central partition, give the owners of the apartments maximum freedom and enjoyment from the free space in the wellness area.
Studio Team «BondarenkoDesign» did everything to make this apartment the embodiment of the trend of naturalness and environmental friendliness. Here the concept of closeness with nature is implemented in every detail.
Getting into the space of the bedroom, we plunge into the atmosphere of warm shades of wood, green moss, as well as white natural marble. The wall at the head of the bed is made of honey-colored vertical wooden slats.
The main lighting of the bedroom is three ceiling lamps in the form of water stains. The workplace is highlighted with green moss covered with white contrasting drop-shaped lamps. In the center is a cozy armchair, it is undoubtedly color chord and designates a recreation area. Concrete walls act as a backdrop for bright accents like wood and moss.
The concept of naturalness is interestingly supported in the bathroom.
Moving to the bathroom area, we see a stepped transition of parquet into natural marble pebbles. This is done to more naturally combine the two functional areas.
Evening relaxation ritual, Wellness, self-care culture… The high pace of life is increasingly shaping the value of these areas. A healthy lifestyle makes the bathroom the first space for relaxation.
Based on this, we decided to make the bathroom space spacious, airy and pretentious. And the bath itself is placed right next to the panoramic windows with a beautiful view.
The jacuzzi is made in the form of an ellipse and it's not just that. This is the shape of the natural pebbles, which is located right at the base of the bath. The washbasin is suspended on a solid slab of marble, and thanks to the illumination under it, it seems to «hovering over the pebbles». Hidden above the washbasin is a system with built-in mirror cabinets for storing hygiene products. The bath area is highlighted with air lights, they flow beautifully from the ceiling and do not block natural light.
Pay attention to the floor. It is made of wood and marble. Just imagine how nice it is to walk barefoot on a tree, because it is always warm.… You step further and your feet feel the smooth, streamlined surface of the stone, as if on the Mediterranean coast.… Around you natural light, natural green shades, the sound of water…and it’s as if we are no longer in the bathroom, but far, far away, on the island of relaxation and peace.
At the end of the bathroom there is a shower room with a built-in steam bath for relaxing thermal treatments. The glass that separates the shower room and the lavatory has a drawing of an enlarged structural sheet. Even with such a discreet detail, the author withstood and emphasized the concept of naturalness…
The guest room was inevitably deprived of natural light, and here the task was– fill the room with pleasant light for a comfortable stay of guests. The solution to this issue was to place panels along the entire wall in the form of large blinds, which are slightly ajar, and natural light of a warm shade breaks through behind them. Of course, this is not the light from the window, but exactly the design solution that we found for this room. It creates the illusion of natural light and gives the impression that by opening the curtains, we will see a window and a panorama from it.
At the head of the bed, there are photo wallpapers in the form of tree branches, from which organic sconces appear. Opposite the bed is a zigzag work desk that flows into a closet with a veneered facade. The main lighting on the ceiling, made in the form of a sphere, with the option of tilting towards the bed or workplace. The lamp unites the whole room around itself and puts the main chord in the center of the space.
